Transformer substation installation for IHS Towers, Oshodi-Isolo
Pole-mounted 11kV distribution transformer substation with metering for an IHS Towers telecom site in a dense residential street.
Urban telecom sites leave little room for error: narrow streets, neighbours on every side and no space for a ground substation. For this IHS Towers site in Oshodi-Isolo, Ionir Integral installed a compact pole-mounted transformer substation with metering mounted on the structure.
Working in a dense residential street
We planned deliveries and lifts to minimise disruption, cordoned the work area, and installed clear danger signage and earthing before energisation.
Outcome
The substation was completed in July 2025 and documented with geotagged photos for the client's records.
