This IHS Towers site off Morocco Road, Shomolu needed a connection from a 33kV feeder. The structure sits directly beside a live telecom tower, so every lift and climb was planned around the tower's equipment and the energised network nearby.

Safety first

Our crew worked under a permit-to-work with full fall-arrest PPE, isolation confirmed with the DisCo, and a dedicated safety observer on the ground.

Outcome

The 33kV works were completed in June 2022 and recorded with geotagged photographs for the client.
